The VICI Jour pre-column filter kit has a standard 10-32 fitting which fits directly to most column types without introducing additional dead volume. The filter kit protects expensive columns against fines and particles which may otherwise accumulate on the column frit, leading to split peaks and high backpressure.

We recommend 2 µm frits for columns with 5 µm or larger particles and 0.5 µm frits for smaller particles.
